NFL Alumni Health joined students, educators, and community leaders in Cochise County, Arizona, last week to launch “Arizona’s Path to Fentanyl Reduction,” a new awareness and prevention initiative designed to educate students on the dangers of fentanyl and help save lives.

The pilot program, founded by STOP-IT and the Arizona Department of Education, launched with participating schools including Buena High School, Tombstone High School, Douglas High School, and Berean High School.

Former NFL player Travis Brown joined students during the Media Day event alongside representatives from the Arizona Department of Education, PATHS, local educators, the Arizona Air National Guard, and NFL Alumni Arizona Chapter leadership.

Students participated in fentanyl education sessions and interactive discussions focused on awareness, prevention, and community impact.

“It feels great to be part of something that’s going to change the lives of a lot of people,” said Buena High School student Jason Young.

NFL Alumni Health is proud to support programs that drive education, prevention, and community impact.
