The Facts

As noted in the Table below—developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)—American Indian or Alaska Native, Black or African American, or Hispanic or Latino persons have much higher rates of infection, hospitalization, and death from COVID-19.

Recent, early studies also indicate that Black and Hispanic Americans are receiving the COVID-19 vaccine at significantly lower rates than White people.

Our Goal

NFL Alumni Health is taking action to address disparities related to COVID-19. Our first area of focus is to both reduce and prevent disparities in vaccination. Stay tuned to learn more about our efforts to reduce disparities related to COVID-19.
