NFL Alumni Health teams up with DEA to raise awareness of the dangers of Fentanyl and fake pills
National education campaign featuring NFL players will share resources to combat U.S. opioid crisis
In 2023, DEA seized more than 78.4 million fentanyl-laced fake pills and nearly 12,000 pounds of fentanyl powder. The 2023 seizures are equivalent to more than 388.8 million lethal doses of fentanyl.

A number of Americans have difficulty managing their weight. In fact, more than 1 in 3 adults in the United States are obese, which is defined as having a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher. Adults with obesity also have a higher risk of developing heart disease, diabetes, and some types of cancer. Being obese can also be associated with mental health issues.
