Jason Hurd, MD

Dr. Jason Hurd is an orthopedic surgeon at Sanford Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He serves as the principal investigator of Sanford Health’s adipose stem cell clinical trial for partial and small rotator cuff tears, in the first FDA approved clinical trial of its kind in the U.S. Dr. Hurd completed his undergraduate course work at the University of Notre Dame and his medical degree at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. He is fellowship trained in shoulder and elbow surgery from the New York Hospital for Joint Disease and is board certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine.
