Benjamin Noonan, MD

Dr. Benjamin Noonan is a practicing orthopedic surgeon who treats primarily sports injuries of the hip and knee including Femoral Acetabular Impingement (FAI), ACL injuries, multi-ligament knee injuries, meniscal tears, articular cartilage injuries, and patella instability. Dr Noonan is very involved in Orthopedic Research and now serves as the Director of Orthopedic research for Sanford Orthopedics. He has developed a particular interest in the area of orthobiologics and the potential applications of stem cells. He is currently a Primary Investigator in the MILES (multicenter trial of stem cell therapy for knee osteoarthritis) study, which is examining the efficacy of both autologous and allogeneic mesenchymal stem cells in knee osteoarthritis. He is also very involved in ACL techniques and outcomes research
